Location: at the feet of the Lucchesi hills and approximately 8km north of Lucca, below the Pizzorne hills. The village is spread over the rolling hills around the old parish church. In this area there are many villas which have been built by noble Lucchesi families since the sixteenth century. The location is beautiful and is a unique position for growing vines and olives. The climate is mild even in winter, because the place is sheltered from the north winds by the mountains beyond and warmed by its southerly facing position.

Fascinating historic villa in the noble hills of Capannori, with a stunning view from every window. Immersed in olive groves, vineyards and parkland, this estate is preserved and surrounded by a lovely park overlooking the wonderful landscape.

Arnolfini's ancient chapel has existed since the 17th century. It is dedicated to Our Lady and legend tells of some miracles. For this reason the "oratorio" was then a place of pilgrimage by the locals bringing gifts. The Madonna was painted above the altar.
In 1780 there was already a smaller building, set against the oratory: This is reported in a document of a notary at that time.
Later, in the nineteenth century, the building attached to the small church was enlarged to achieve the villa which exists today.
The architecture of the villa is in 19th century style while the oratory has the typical design of previous centuries.
In fact, the facades, interior decoration, frescoes on the ceilings and classic interior doors are nineteenth century clear additions.
More recently some modern internal works are added: some new archess were created, the floors carpeted in the bedrooms, bathrooms and electric and plumbing systems added.

On the ground floor there are some living spaces including a kitchen, cellars and storage rooms. The first or noble floor is on the north part at garden level. There are halls, living rooms, kitchen and some bedrooms. On the second floor there are bedrooms and bathrooms. Overall, on the various floors, there are 10 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms.

Annexed to the main house there are also two buildings, a hall for lunch, limonaia, oven, storage.

On the north of the villa there is a beautiful Italian garden with a central fountain. Beyond the exterior buildings there is a pool and a second entrance that leads to a possible parking area.
