Exit the motorway at Lucca.
Head for the centre (centro on white sign with black circles)
From Lucca follow the blue signs to Abetone which you will see as you circle the ringroad outside the old city walls.
This road is the SS12. (see map)
You can keep following the signs to Abetone and stay on the SS12 or it’s easier to just keep going straight ahead at the large Esselunga supermarket 8km from Lucca, thus avoiding crossing the river and back.
Bagni di Lucca is about 25km from Lucca. As you enter the town the office is on your left (500m past the Bagni di Lucca white sign), before the set of traffic lights which, if red, require you to switch off your engine as it’s a long wait.
The office is on this road - Via di Serraglia 112. There’s a car park next door – Piazza Longarone.
If you pass the Corona Hotel on your left, you’ve gone too far.
The office is surrounded by a bay hedge. Just ring the doorbell when you arrive.
