In a hilly position between Umbria and Tuscany and on an ancient country estate, this farmhouse is in the municipality of Città della Pieve (Umbria) but is closer to Chiusi (Tuscany) which is just 3km away.
The apartment is located on the first floor of a large and typical farmhouse, whose original structure dates back to the 1600s and was served as a stable. This portion of the farmhouse measures approximately 160 sqm and was finely restored in 2011. The whole farmhouse is still part of a large estate, once owned by a noble and wealthy family of landowners.
The property includes an exclusive garden (500 sqm) with an outbuilding of 50 sqm, a shared pool, parking and services.
The apartment is on the first floor (accessed by an external staircase), and the property also includes the ground floor of an annex.

The current owners completely renovated the apartment in 2010/2011 with all new systems, triple glazed windows and floors. An efficient thermo-fireplace has been inserted which feeds the radiators (wood-fired heating) and the boiler is new too. The beams and bricks have also been sandblasted.
The annex, converted into a residential building by the current owners, underwent a complete renovation in 2015.
