The other one is all on the second floor and accessed from the external staircase and consists of a central hallway, large bathroom, two double bedrooms one of which with ensuite bathroom, large storage room, kitchen with large living room with fireplace.
With external access to the house is a convenient room that can be used as a cellar/storage room.
Along a more private wall of the house is a covered patio.
Condition and finishes
The origins date back to the 1800s and the property has had several major interventions. The first in the 1930s with the addition of the second level, the second in the 1980s, and the last and most important in the early 2000s with renovations involving the systems, the roof, and the distribution of the current interior spaces. The roof was entirely redone with sheathing and insulation, the systems new with use of home automation. Solid wood exterior fixtures and double glazing, terracotta floors, bathrooms with elegant finishes, while still in the style of the house.
Some interior work would allow the restoration of the internal staircase to make one large house.
Note the presence inside the house of the old oven with the typical brick vault and the old cave dug out of the earth, which was used as a cold room and is currently covered with a porthole of ground glass.
In a plot of land of about 4 hectares that completely surrounds it and in which there are about 300 olive trees that provide the famous Tuscan oil, of these the nearest 5,000 square meters are fenced off and kept as a garden with numerous succulent plants, flowering bushes and bushes of medicinal plants.
Strategically placed at various points in the garden are two panoramic pergolas, one with a wood-burning oven and barbecue, a small annex used for laundry and others for storing garden tools.
The pool, in the most beautiful and panoramic location, measures 12 x 6 m and is chlorine-free, surrounded by the solarium, and has the pool house next to it.
The country house for those who wish to live there all year round, thanks to its quiet but not isolated location, lends itself as an investment thanks to the geographical position that makes it perfect for visiting the villages of Tuscany.
Vinci and nearby Cerreto Guidi are two lovely villages. The proximity to the main cities of Tuscany and the region’s two airports makes these villages very attractive.
