Located in the beautiful hills of southern Tuscany known as the Maremma, this delightful property is within walking distance of the hilltop town of Manciano.
Close to Saturnia with its thermal springs, to the Etruscan towns of Pitigliano and Montemerano and the coast, this area offers something for everyone; famous and delicious wines, wild landscapes to explore and a beautiful coastline.
The house, which was restored from a ruin in 1995, is just 1.5 km from the centre of Manciano and enjoys lovely views up to the town. The garden offers lawns and shady pergolas of perfumed wisteria for al fresco dining and a small pool (9m x 4m) to dip into on hot days. There are 30 olive trees.
The accommodation on 2 floors comprises a sitting room with large open fireplace, a long dining room down one side of the house which is a veranda to open in the summer and close in the winter and a kitchen area. There are 2 bedrooms with bathrooms on this floor.
On the first floor are a further 2 bedrooms with bathrooms.
On the lower ground floor, accessed by an external staircase, is a large room with bathroom and a further storage room with the boiler and water cistern.
