Buonconvento is a middle age hamlet dating back to 1100 BC, in the province of Siena and along the famous Roman Cassia road. Its name comes from the Latinn ”bonus-conventus”, which means ”happy and lucky place”. It is few minutes drive from places of interest such as Montalcino, Val d’Orcia and Asciano. Siena is 35 km, Florence and Rome 90 km and 200 km.
