Farm located in the beautiful countryside of the “Crete Senesi” near Trequanda, 7 km from Pienza and the Val d’Orcia UNESCO world heritage site, in a well preserved natural environment, rich in forests of oak and an exceptional variety of Mediterranean plants.
The property comprises approximately 6 hectares of land which includes a rich cultivation of olive trees, wheat fields and woods with old trees.
The origin of the nearby village dates back to Etruscan and Roman times; a testimony of these ancient civilizations is the presence on the property of two Etruscan tombs carved into the rock.
The property can be reached from the airport of Pisa, 211 km, time 2 hours and 15 minutes (highway Florence Sea A11 – Autostrada A1 exit at Bettolle – road); the airport of Rome-Fiumicino, 232 km, time 2 hours and 22 minutes (A1 – exit at Bettolle road).
The farmhouse, of about 300 square meters, is on two levels.
On the ground floor the old stable that still preserves the ancient mangers, and where the locals produced and kept the wine, now is used for storage, but already predisposed as part of the house.
On the first floor, accessible by an original staircase in travertine, we find 3 large double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room with fireplace, a kitchen-dining room, attic and porch.
Entering the building with access from the courtyard, there is a wood-burning oven and near the old well.
Adjacent to the main building is a partially renovated outbuilding that could be used as a caretaker’s house.

The local stone has been used for the construction of the house and of the many stone walls. The entire structure has been renovated to maintain the existing materials; therefore, the ceilings have wooden beams and original bricks, handcrafted terracotta floors and so on. The property is served by mains/town water supply, electricity and mains/town gas central heating.
The property is suitable as a home or to be transformed into an hotel, a bed and breakfast or apartments to rent.
