Location
Pontassieve can be easily reached in about 30 minutes from Florence, and is a territory surrounded by rivers that descend from the hills. It is an ancient land of village churches, castles, ancient homes. The typical products of Pontassieve are agricultural ones, while the area is mainly the Chianti Rufina production area, the smallest geographical specification of Chianti.
Description
Leaving the state road, a typical country road (untarmacked) of about 3km leads us to the property. An automatic gate gives access to the first building, the main one, of about 240 sqm.
The entrance leads to the large living area and the kitchen which has a classic Tuscan feel and which has a large pantry for storing all the local products.
You reach the sleeping area by ascending a staircase of local stone. There are three comfortable double bedrooms and a large living area as well as a large service room.
A short distance away, the second building consists of an apartment with its own entrance, a living area with kitchenette, double bedroom and bathroom.
The old barn of 108 sqm, expertly restored, is used as a new apartment with its own entrance into the characteristic loggia overlooking the large living area with a well-equipped central island.

The 8.5 hectares of land include 385 olive trees which produce a characteristic Tuscan oil with an intense and pungent flavour. There is a large panoramic swimming pool for spending relaxing moments lying in the sun or admiring the colours of the warm summer sunsets. The land around the buildings is flat and therefore very usable and comfortable
Condition and finishes
The farmhouses have been completely renovated. The rooms, equipped with all comforts, embody the tradition of the local materials used and modern innovation.
The floors are in terracotta, the ceilings have exposed beams and the walls are partly covered in local stone and partly plastered. The atmosphere is enhanced further but flowers and herbs.
