The beautiful Villa La Spina is located in one of the most charming areas of the countryside in Central Italy. It consists of four independent apartments derived from the restructuring of an old rural building and of its annexed agricultural structures inside a well tended farm of 110 HA.
Villa La Spina is the ideal place for those who want to spend some holiday and relaxing time without renouncing the usual comfort. In fact it combines calm and vast surroundings with finely furnished houses with any comfort.

The old family house sits on top of a hill, some hundreds meters away. The owners live in Rome, but they spend all their leisure time in this very beautiful and peaceful estate.

Villa La Spina is made up of three independent buildings that were brought back to their original architectural features through a refined restoration piece of work. The main farmhouse dates back to the end of the Middle Ages. The restoration and restructuring work was able to create a warm environment full of light, by means of traditional materials such as cotto, wood, ceramic tiles and old stones.

The pool (12x6 mt) was built in a natural trough of the terrain and is surrounded by large trees. It is furnished with large umbrellas, tables, chairs and sun beds.

There are four apartments and a total of sleeps 20.

All the apartments are elegant and furnished with care and attention to the details. The two largest apartments (Airone and Civetta) are located in the main farmhouse, while the other two (Picchio and Pettirosso) are located in two independent buildings that previously were agricultural annexes.

APARTMENT AIRONE: 220 m2. for 8 pers, on two levels composed of: a living room of 140 mq., obtained from the former stables, featuring three adjacent premises linked by three old tufa arches, with a large stone fireplace and the old mangers turned into sofas, in addition to a large refectory table for 10 people, a sofa in front of the fireplace and a card-table. Kitchen-dining-room with a table and a fireplace, a fridge and a washing machine. A double room and, a bathroom with a shower. Two staircases lead to the upper floor, one leading to the main double room, a twin bedroom, bathroom with a shower and the other, made of stone, to a romantic double bedroom and a private bathroom with a shower. The apartment is also equipped with a television and a hi-fi.

APARTMENT CIVETTA: 160 m2.for 6 pers., on two levels, composed of: a livingroom with a sofa, a cotto fireplace and a large arched window. A large kitchen-dining room with a rectangular table for 8 people and a counter made of cotto and old ceramic tiles, with a stove and a dishwasher. A bathroom with a washing machine. On the upper floor: a double room with a two-bed garret and the main room; a bathroom with a shower. There is also another double room with a canopy bed and a private bathroom which features a 16 m2 terrace furnished with a wrought-iron table and chairs with an impressive view on Mount Amiata. The garden is furnished with a wooden table and chairs. TV, Hi-Fi.

APARTMENT PICCHIO: 90 m2. for 4 pers.,separate apartment with an independent entrance composed of: a large porch running all along the facade of the building and furnished with a wooden table and chairs. A living-room with sofas, a table for 6-8 people, a stone fireplace, a kitchen with a counter lined with cotto and old ceramic tiles, with a stove and a dishwasher. A main double room with a private bathroom. A two-bed room. A bathroom with a shower and a washing machine. A private garden. TV, Hi-Fi.

APARTMENT PETTIROSSO: 75 m2.for 2 pers. It is a separate apartment with an independent entrance with: A living room with a fireplace, a dining table and a sofa. A kitchen lined with cotto and old ceramic tiles with a stove and a washing machine. A double room with a canopy bed leading directly to a pergola with a wooden table and chairs. A bathroom with a stone mosaic lined shower/bathtub. TV, Hi-Fi.
