Villa dei Parchi

Just minutes from Rome, the elegant atmosphere of the villa and the beauty of the park provide an oasis of peace and tranquility. A historic home dating back to 1889, Villa dei Parchi preserves intact the charm of an ancient country residence. Immersed in the greenery of an estate of about 20 hectares and nestled between the ancient Via Cassia and the Via Francigena, a short distance from the airports (Fiumicino and Ciampino), the Villa welcomes you with its park full of century-old cedars and long avenues of pine and cypress trees, typical essences of the gardens of the time.

The villa has been entirely renovated and furnished with period furniture, preserving original elements, from the beautiful terracotta floors to the ceilings with exposed wooden beams, which create an intimate and comfortable atmosphere.

On the basement floor is a large 140-square-meter apartment dedicated to leisure, with sitting rooms, cinema room, ping-pong tables, gymnasium, 2 bathrooms with showers, 3 beds, and direct access to the garden and swimming pool.
A few steps separate it from the first floor where there is an entrance hall, a study, a comfortable living room, a large dining room and a large equipped kitchen, both connected with direct access to the garden, a service bathroom.
Second floor: four bedrooms, one double and three twin or double rooms with “king-size” beds, have en suite bathrooms, one with bathtub and the others with shower. Three single beds are available for younger children in the two pass-through rooms.

The swimming pool, easily accessed by an elegant Roman-style staircase, has a large solarium also equipped with a solar-powered shower, surrounded by English lawns and completely fenced off for the protection of the little ones.

Facilities: 4x12 m pool, 1.50 m deep completely fenced, wifi, air conditioning in all rooms (to be paid according to consumption), gym, 2 pingpong tables, dvd player and cd player, 5 mountain bikes available, column for charging electric cars (to be paid according to consumption).

Security deposit: € 1.000,00. Upon arrival, guests will be required to provide a security deposit which will be refunded to them at the end of their stay, less the cost of any damages incurred.

weekly rental of the villa, taxes (VAT), 2 hours of cleaning on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, final cleaning, electricity.

* Cooking: Choice A (professional chef to be reserved upon demand: € 300 + food&beverage upon tax receipts); Choice B (domestic chef to be reserved upon demand: € 45,00 / hour + food&beverage upon tax receipts)
* Cooking Classes: variable depending on number of participants (ranging between € 95 - 140 / p.p.)
* Wine Tasting: three options €/p.p. 60 (visit vinyeard and winery + tasting of 4 grapes) - €/p.p. 80 (as previous option + 2 more tasting paired with salami and bruschette. 4 or more people) - €/p.p. 150 (visit vinyeard and winery + tasting of 3 grapes + Maremman Lunch. 8 or more people)
* Olive Oil Tasting: tasting of 4 different extra vergin oils (€ 15 p.p.).
* Transports: from airport or Rome to the villa: from € 210 (berlina) to € 230 (van). Other services can be organized.
* Baby Sitting: variable depending on number of childs (e.g. 1 child: € 20 per hour; 4 childs: € 45 per hour)
* Ayurvedic Massage, Foot Massage, Foot Reflexology: € 80 p. hour
* Yoga group lessons (on-site / 1 hour): € 100 1 lesson, € 200 2 lessons, € 250 3 lessons, € 300 4 lessons, € 400 5 lessons.
* Bioenergetic treatments: Reiki, Theta Healing, Crystal therapy, Reading Akashic records (30 - 40 minutes ): € 60.
* Bellydance: group lesson 1 hr / € 20 p.p, 5 group lessons € 65 p.p., personal lesson 1 hr / € 50, 5 personal lessons € 200, show 5 music € 160.
* Concierge Fee: 15 - 20% depending on request. To be always considered when booking wine and oil tastings.
Swimming pool: open May 11-September 14, 2024 (surcharge for any additional weekly off-season opening to be requested at time of booking)
